Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is 1,5 spaced; uses a 12-point font; and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • References are written using Mendeley Reference Management which is available on the www.mendeley.com website

Author Guidelines

  1. The types of articles are research articles: library research, biblical research, and field research.
  2. The topic of the article is according to the focus and scope of Tevunah
  3. The paper size, margins, typeface, and writing layout follow the Tevunah template which can be downloaded here. Only articles written according to the template will be processed.
  4. Article length 15-20 pages with 1.5 spacing.
  5. References are primary sources published in the last 10 years, at least 60% of scientific journals.
  6. Writing references must use the Mendeley application which can be accessed on the Mendeley.com website
  7. The level of similarity of articles compared to other published articles is a maximum of 20%. Make sure you have checked similarity before submitting.
  8. The title of the article reflects the content, maximum 12 words, should not contain abbreviations
  9. Keywords consist of 3-5 unique words/phrases
